About the Event
ETA: Lunch will begin at 11am, a change from the previously posted time. After lunch, we'll have games on the lawn.
What is Black and White all over? You can be!
Coleen and I challenge y'all to create a Black & White confection! We have heard back from the Heard-Craig House & they are excited to have us back. In fact, they want to add to the challenge!
If the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts is able to see our costumes a month before the tea, they would like to duplicate what the Met did in 2013 Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity. At that exhibit, the Met had paintings placed in tandem with historical gowns and accessories. You can have the opportunity to sit with an artist before the tea and have your gown placed on a mannequin when the paintings go display. If you're interested, we can put you in touch with Coleen's contact.
This will be similar to the Pink Tea hosted by Coleen in 2016. Your confections can be from any time period.
Please note: there is a set amount of seats in our space, so tickets have been limited accordingly. Make your purchase soon to reserve your spot!
