Join us at the Kimball Art Museum to view Murillo's paintings of everyday life in Spain's Golden age in the 17th century on Saturday, January 14th, 2023.
We will meet at the box office at 10:00. Costumes, of course, are encouraged but not mandatory!
Afterwards we will eat lunch at La Madeleines.
If you've been looking for an opportunity to meet other DFWCG members, this is it! We'll be attending the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie on Sunday, May 15th for a day of food, fun, and (of course) COSTUMES!
We'll meet up at 11am in the shady area under the trees just inside the front gate. Look for the DFWCG banner. We'll wait there for about 30 minutes, then head onward into the festival grounds.
This is an informal meetup, and as such there's no particular schedule or itinerary. With so much to do and see, attendees should feel free to come and go as they please! We'll do another group meetup in the shady tree area around 3pm for anyone who misses us in the morning.

It’s that time of year again – time for the Georgian Picnic! With an afternoon filled with charming Rococo and Regency costume, delicious food, fun period games, and lively conversation, it’s easy to see why this has become one of our most popular events! Bring your favorite picnic foods, or if you’re feeling adventurous, try your hand at an 18th Century recipe! All attempts and interpretations of 18th Century costume are welcome, from exacting recreations to dastardly pirates!
Our party will be held at River Legacy Park in Arlington, next to the Elm Grove Pavilion in the back of the park.
